Idea to stop server hopers

Recommended Posts

Here is this idea I came up with to stop server hoping. Once you log onto a server, as soon as you loot something, you should be put on a 30 minute lock to that server. What do you think?

I´ll admit it.. I am a server hoper too.. every time i connect i hope there won´t be any server hoppers.

In all seriousness tho - 30 mins is way too long to be locked up on a server. And if a server hopper finds nothing loot-worthy he would just hop on.

Yesterday I read a thread about a logout period of a few seconds (like in MMOS) which i fully approve since it makes combat logging/server hopping harder and gets traffic off the servers.

I still have hope on servers.

Leaving jokes apart, as far as I can understand Rocket already had a plan for that. Give the devs time, and let's see what they do before proposing something else. Even if it is so popular remember that server hopping is not a main priority issue in this phase of development.
