Rocket and co really listen

I was just wondering if you'd noticed this, but often I'll see some pretty good suggestions on the forums, and then in the changelog for upcoming updates, I'll see the exact suggestion having been implemented, almost word for word. I've noticed that in most new updates I see this at least once.

For example in the pending 1.7.2 update, a new feature was 50% noise reduction through walls. I saw this exact suggestion, I recall someone saying they could do a LOS check for sound and reduce it by 50% through walls. I'm not sure if thats exactly how it was implemented, by LOS, but it's awesome to see the Forum making a direct impact on the game itself (Even though I may have suggested that doubling LOS checks might not be good fore performance, but 100% good for gameplay)

P.S. 1.7.2 looks great on paper, hope it's not got too many new bugs :)

I just hope they have the sense not to pay any attention to the hundreds of stupid suggestions that would:

- Make the game more gamey or arcade-like

- Make the game less about survival and more about killing hordes

- Make the game more about PvP deathmatching

- Make the game more casual and easy going

- Make the gameworld less believable and immersive

The fact is, for every good suggestion I see on these forums, there seems to be another 10 geared at ruining the game by making it one of the above.

Spot on, thusfar they have had the great foresight and determination to stay true to the vision, to allow them to pick out the golden suggestions amongst the sea of derp.
