VoIP Not Working?

Hello fellow survivors,

 

I recently got DayZ and have been having a blast, but for some reason my VoIP is not working? I am usually on Skype while I play and I have a Steel Series Siberia V2 Illuminated headset which has been working fine in every other game I play. 

 

Has anyone else had this issue or know of a way I can fix this?

CAPS LOCK is your push to talk.  But VOIP is not global.  Only people in your vicinity can hear you.

I had the same problem. For me, it was because I had my webcam turned on to track my free track device. This enabled the built in mic which for some reason interfered with my VoIP. Try disbling your webcam if you have one.

A friend and I had a similar problem last night.  Could hear eachother in game, and couldn't even see each others chat in direct chat.  Trying a different server fixed our issue.
