Unable to shoot handguns.

Greetings!

 

Yesterday I found the revolver and later some ammo for it in Elektro. I've loaded it with bullets via the inventory, but it just doesn't shoot. It just clicks like it's empty. I've tried ejecting, recombining and loading it, but it did not help.

Rejoining or joining other servers did not help either.

Today, I found an FNX and a full mag, loaded it, but had the same results like with the Magnum - it just clicks.

 

This might be a bug, but I think it's just me missing something and you're probably laughing at my stupidity now.

Hopefully it's the latter and you can help me with it.

It's clearly a bug, specially when looting guns/pistols from dead bodies it generally dosen't work, even if pristine

Alright, after you're post I wanted to test this, so I ran around and finally found another gun laying around, this time not looted from a body. And guess what: It works.

It's a bug. And a very annoying one at it.

It's not a bug, the guns you found on bodies were ruined by gunfire or melee hits. Handguns don't show condition yet.

Yup, if the pistols were on a dead body, its most likely ruined. Maybe that someone else that drop it there after looting it on a dead body too.

I had the same problem. Just keep the gun until you find another one and swap it out in an office building or something. But like these other fellows said it is indeed ruined.
