Found an excellent server on which I was playing for the past 3 hours but I need to log off now, and I don't remember the server name - any way to check from within the game??

Depends. If the server allows it and your running a beta greater than 93542 it's:

[93542] New: MP Statistics screen (key I) contains the Server hostname
