The backpack in a backpack, in a backpack... bug/exploit?

Recommended Posts

Right now you can put a large backpack inside your backpack and gain an extra 10 slots. While this is nice, I am wondering if it was intentional?

Havent yet tried to put a backpack into the backpack I already have in my backback... if it works that would mean unlimited inventory space, even though it would also be pretty annoying accessing the innermost backpack.

Solution would be, to have the backpacks fill out the backpack its put in. but then again you could put a smaller backpack in a big one, and you would still get an advantage, just like with the smaller yellow bokses, which i think works perfect. 6 slots for 4 in the inventory..

What do you think?

I thought they fixed that.

In a bit of a ham fisted way though. You should be able to roll up backpacks that are empty and carry a few extra.

i think this will be fixed/balanced in the future. you obviously should not be able to stack backpacks babushka-style

"packception"

my favorite part of this? is the fact that you can put the yellow boxes inside another box. even tho they are the same "size".

I wouldn't do that, you have to drop your boxes on the ground to access items inside all te time.

I've heard such practices can seriously desync server and this is obviously a bug.

I'd say, allow to stuff one empty backpack in your main one and that's it.

Regarding container boxes, they should not allow other containers to be put inside of them and ofcourse your clothing, with container in them, should not be allowed to go into main backpack. Can't be that hard to patch it.

Damn,I really went kinda deep this time.

another thing that I find funny:

an ammo box takes up 4 inventory slots.

A THREE HUDRED ROUND AMMO BOX.

Now, if you know anything about ammo boxes, you know that these ones are not very big compared to, say, a 50. cal can. But with only 4 inventory slots, this means that you can effectively store one....in your jeans pocket.

Now, these ammo cans may not be the largest ammo cans out there, but if you have ever seen one, you would know that you CANNOT fit it into your jeans pocket.

I find it hilarious to imagine some guy running around with a 300 rnd ammo box shoved in their pants.

"Hey man. Whatcha gonna do with all that junk? All that junk up in your trunks?"
