Computers can shutdown unexpectedly when they overheat. Especially graphics cards. It happened to me when I used to play on a laptop. Besides, your computer doesn't NEARLY match the minimum specs for this game. You have no choice but to get an actual gaming computer. Also, get a cooler. ;)

for gods sake stop guessing.

open damn event viewer

Hit start > in search type "View event logs" go to system tab and find the last one ( based on time ) when your pc crashed. It's gonna be marked with red circle with big white X in it . That's the first place you go on windows machine for diagnostics.

Don't forget that psu maybe can't handle the voltage load.

Yeah then what? The report is a bunch of blabber.

I had the same issue, CPU was heating up to 105 degrees celsius. I reapplied thermal compund on it and it's at 60 degrees max now, HOWEVER on high population servers I still got the unexpected shutdown but I doubt it's heat related.

exact same has started happening to me:

msi gt780dxr, i7-2680qm, nvidia gtx 570m 1.5 gb gddr5, 8gb ram

I thought it was me messing up the launch parameters but it happens without them too. Also it seems to be happening to a lot of people.

While the game is in alpha how about people reporting bugs are taken seriously instead of this current idea where we blame them not the alpha.

Actually, if people report bugs in a sensible and useful manner, people will go out of their way to help them. If they post a rage thread going 'OMFG DAYZ BROKE MAI COMPUTER I WANT A REFUND!?!!11!one!!' without telling us the first thing about their system, then they're going to receive equally constructive responses. How about that? ;)
