DevilDog (DayZ) 455 Posted January 8, 2014 Idea: Add in a vertical hand grip. Look: Reveal hidden contents Mechanics: Used to attach to fire arms with a rail attached (currently only the M4).Effect: Increased accuracy while standing or kneeling (like the bipod does for prone). Options: Can limit the rail space so only a bipod or vertical grip can be used, not both. Additional Option: There are even vertical grips out there that have a bipod as well that comes out of the bottom (known as the grip pod). This one could be much more rare than the bipod or vertical grip. Reveal hidden contents
TedZ 424 Posted January 8, 2014 Awesome, more accurate shooting a grip and a bipod! +

What they should do is add sway to make aiming more difficult while standing, instead of making the guns less accurate. If they did that the grip could lower the sway the character has while standing/crouching.I would really like to see that. I love the realism and am all for that system though. Not sure if they will ever do it, but either way this grip should be in there.
chompster 171 Posted January 8, 2014 personally a bigger fan of the angled forward grip http://www.outcasttactical.com/shop/images/products/large_392_afgs2.jpg but i'm all for more options/variation.

I would love to see it in game. More options like you said are better.

Rushthezeppelin 8 Posted January 8, 2014 Mehhh vertical foregrips are overrated IMO. Better than crappy stock carbine grips but not near as good as a magpul angled foregrip or even better a longer free float tube that allows you to do a competition locked support arm grip

Publik 404 Posted January 9, 2014 Should reduce sway when moving or something along those lines, or make you recover sway when standing. Shouldn't magically make a gun more accurate.
