Proxy Settings available?

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I just started to play DayZ Standalone 0.30.114008. At least I tried to.

Recently I installed it via Steam on the machine at my university (we study games, so it's no big deal), but I can't find any server. As I expected.

Are there proxy settings, ports or anything else known? If yes, I could ask our IT department to open these ports.

Best,

*EDIT: Does DayZ Standalone use UDP? I know our proxy server does NOT support UDP protocols.

Not sure about the UDP but did you make sure you didn't have your filters set wrong?

Hi,

I use an application called "Proxifier 3.1.5" to route applications through the proxy. Usually apps like Steam etc. appear in a list within Proxifier and I can set the rules for a specific app. I can read the application name, the IP it is connecting to and the port it's using and several other things. So I usually route every connection an app is trying to establish toward every port. So the app is not restricted by my system, but only by the proxy.

DayZ.exe isn't even appearing in this list. That's weird. I will take a closer look to this and give some feedback in the next days.

Best,

"DayZ Standalone 0.30.114008"
did you write it correctly?
