NVIDIA ShadowPlay on DayZ

Just a little showcase how it runs with the quality settings at high (ish. Not at the maximum.) and such.

What i love about this program is, that it records 5-30min of footage, and you can choose when you want to save it, so you don't have to push the start/stop record switch if something happens.

Uses very minimal resources. "All it requires" is a 650+ series (?) GPU.

Specs in the description. I didn't use any video editing software, due to having no clue yet how to operate them, so it's raw 1080p footage.

(If this is in the wrong section, pardon me. Mod's free to move it.)

I still don't understand why laptop users can't use Shadowplay.

SO Nvidia can make more monies by selling top-end cards.

Well on a more serious note there probably is a legitimate limiting factor, such as the fact that 90% of laptop GPUs are absolute rubbish and shadowplay is able to offer its lag-free recording by utilising the high specs available on top-end Nvidia GPUs, such as a large cache, vram, etc. I'm not exactly sure that these thing can't be achieved on a high-end gaming laptop, but I can't go on claiming they can either.

The laptop GPUs lack the on board encoding chip that the new cards use to stream so seamlessly.  That being said not sure why they wouldn't put it on there, shadowplay makes streaming/recording so easy anyone can use it.
