dasinfi 4 Posted January 7, 2014 Laying prone on the ground with temperatures below ~ 20°C or on a wet surface should make your temperature go down. What do you think?

Jezza93 44 Posted January 7, 2014 If it was cold and you lied on the floor chest down you would stay warmer because the heat would get trapped between your body and the earth.
gray-z@hotmail.co.uk 84 Posted January 7, 2014 If it was cold and you lied on the floor chest down you would stay warmer because the heat would get trapped between your body and the earth. That's as inaccurate as a Standalone M4..................... Once you force the air out of the gap between the body and ground the ground will begin to absorb the heat from your body and dissipate it. Basically speeding the process up. Thermal clothing is based on the principle of trapping air to create an air gap and insulating it so it retains the heat. Please educate yourself on the subject before posting random brain farts.
