So can somebody please explain to me what desync is supposed to be(never seen anything like that in another game) and how come its still happening in the SA when the whole server architecture is supposedly more mmo like and nothing like what it was in the mod. 

My best guess about desync is that it occurs when the server looses connection with the client for a period of time and cant accurately follow your actions, so everything stays client side and when the desync stops the information for the time that you were desynced just gets sent in a big chunk to the server?
