Please help a frustrated soul

Help me dayz friends.

I have no clue what im doing wrong when trying to install the mod. I have followed the steps of numerous online vids but when ever I launch the game......nothing. The dayz mod is there in the expansions list on the main menu but i am unable to select it.

When I first launch the game I get this message:

No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Soldier_Crew_PMG.scope'.

I have downloaded the files and the launcher, unpacked the files in an @dayz > Addons folder ( I have attatched a screen shot of this folder) and that is all I think I need to do but still nothing.

I am using retail copies of A2 and OA if that makes a difference.

Please help as I am losing my mind trying to get this to work, oh and please use newbie friendly language as i am only semi computer literate.

You would have to launch Arma2 and OA as Combined Operations. I do not use this, but everyone suggests it for retail copies (I use steam), the Arma II Game Launcher: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8241

You will want to run the game as Combined Operations. I believe that is the problem you are experiencing and make sure you have updated to 1.60 or the beta patch.
