Clearer representation of character states.

Recommended Posts

When playing in first person, it's not always clear which state your character is in and what he's doing, is my gun over my shoulder, or is it in my hands but lowered?

As much as I'm against an intrusive UI, It would be nice with some minimalistic stuff that'd show you what you're doing. I find myself repeating actions quite often as it's not always clear to me if my guy took out an item into his hands or put it away, so I stand there like a spastic going back and forth a bit.

How about taking the time to turn your head?

Open your inventory menu?

Yeah, you can run with it open.

Or just press alt.

Maybe showing stance in inventory.

Or do a thing like Arma 3 where a image would be beside the zeroing and ammo count etc I t could also show whether you have a gun on you or not.

Arma is clunky as is, it should not be necessary to open up a menu to figure out what your character is doing with my body. Especially in a firefight.
