Yes SKS, SVT-40, AK variants, RPK, RPD, tokarev/makarov pistols ect. all should be in dayz in my opinion.

 

I own 5 svt-40's so obviously I'm going to see this thread and vote yes.  They are amazing rifles.

Fk this. The AK has priorty. Actually the AK should have been in game before the M4A1 since this an ex soviet state. Idk what they were thinking :L

Yeah it was kind of hinky putting the m4 in the way they did. 

 

But, it's the alpha stage, so that's not really a consideration at this point.

Caliber isn't an issue, it's the fact the Mosin ammo is rimmed. Does that actually matter on a belt-fed gun?

 

Uh, yeah, 'caliber' is an issue. "Chambering" would be a better word though.

 

It's the issue, the main issue, the thing that matters.
