Character sounds hurt.. no messages

My character sounds like he is in pain still after being attacked my a zombie. I bandaged myself but hes still moaning and my screen is slowly losing color. There are no bleeding / thirsty / hungry text so I am assuming its just pain from the attack?  Is the only cure for this pain killers? I have played the game for about 4 hours and have only come across pain killers once before. .. they seem pretty rare.

 

is there any other ways I can stop the pain?

Morphine works too. Otherwise, just press F3 and have a sit-down and a little food. It'll subside.

 

Edit: You might want to put a little Alcohol tincture on it, or take some tetracycline so you don't develop a nasty infection.

Dude idk this game has been weird as hell since yesturday, suddely I'm walking through walls and shit, being dragged by some unknown force, spawning in at the top of the green mountain tower only to see a copy of myself, start running away from it, hides but still dies mysteriously.

 

But speaking of your situation I think you are sick/infected and need antibiotics, could have used dirty rags or someting ^^

That means you are either feeling the pain (which requires painkillers to cure) or you are infected (you said you are losing color). I suggest use alcohol to clean up your wounds first. So far, the only thing to relief pain is the painkiller. Go to cities/military base with hospital or try to find some in civilian buildings. Usually zombie doesn't do that much further damage, maybe you just got unlucky (like being infected)

 

p.s. staying in a healthy condition (eat food until full + drink water until full) is always helpful, so is vitamin.

Thanks for the beans. I read a few posts before joining the game and one of them said that vitamins keeps you healthy. I figured this reasonable (after the immediate apocalypse shock wave, the most valuable thing other than medicine, shelters, food and water is probably vitamins, keeps one away from many ancient disease, like Scurvy)

 

Last two movies of Matrix, I liked the special effects, the fighting and all other fancy stuff, but never fully understood the storyline, it got more and more complicated. Since the Reloaded, I chose not to bother thinking about the story/philosophy/logic.
