Can't change game language.

I use a Japanese compute system locale and downloaded the game when it was like that, so the game is supposedly on 'Japanese' but is not and some of the buttons are all filled with black. Whenever I try to change the language on the game options, nothing happens. How can I change the game to English or when will the Japanese language version get updated?
