Sparkling dots on trees?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me what is causing this?

Sometimes it doesn't show but since I reduced my drawn distance and scene complexity it is all over the place. It also happened with Arma 2 since I swapped my Geforce 460 for an AMD.

edit: please click to see image full screen otherwise the dots are not visible.

i wish people would stop using tinypic, its horrendous.

i'd say its an anti-aliasing flimmer on the transparency edge, but thats pure speculation

Anti Aliasing + Alpha to coverage fixes the problem for me, but at a good cost of FPS, much rather use edge smoothing and can see better as the Alpha to coverage increases foliage density.

I always had trees looking like that :O

Well when I get a new CPU I know how to fix it now.

Tho my CPU is crap and already can't handle the game with more than 30 FPS  at lowish settings.
