FPS issues every few seconds (New info) (ROCKET LOOK!)

Recommended Posts

So I have seen stickies about similar problems. It's not a computer issue, it's the game.

The problem:

My game runs extremely smoothly with all graphical options set to very high for a while and then after playing for a bit I would notice that the graphics would stutter about every 3 to 5 seconds and be smooth in between stutters.

New Info:

I believe that I have found out why this is happening, or at least what the trigger may be.

I noticed that the game was running excellent for about 5 minutes into starting it up. It was not until I OPENED MY INVENTORY (G) that the graphical issues began to happen.

I really think that the problem lies with the inventory window. Something significant happens when you open your inventory, but I don't know what.

Please, please, please look into this!!!!

I know you are working hard on fixing it and this may be the place to start your fix!

Thanks a bunch. Feel free to post if you have noticed the stuttering happening in a similar manner.

I had this problem, but it turned out it was running SixUpdater in the background that was causing the stutter. Have you tried shutting that off when playing (if you have it on at all)?

I saw that you had posted that on a different thread and I checked to make sure that it was off, and that the process was off in the task manager. That was not a viable fix for me.

I'm really hopeful that Rocket sees this thread. If it can help fix this stuttering issue then the game will be about 10x better for me and others with this same issue!
