Clipping through the firestation/fall damage

Was fully geared walking up the fire station in Cherno, fell through the 2nd flight of stairs and just instantly died. Possible bug known but haven't seen any posts about it. Pretty enfuriating, I understand falling a flight while fully geared would make you unconscious/break a leg, but dying? I can't remember looting a stack of cinderblocks or a grand piano.

This has happened to me in a different building in Balota after a friend bumped me through a wall. I now make sure only one person is on the stairs at a time.

I have also sprinted through the handrails of apartment building balconies twice.

Maybe I just looted all the magnums i've seen, must be in the hundreds by now!

This also just happend to me i was almost at the nw airfield to loot for weapons i want to loot a house so i went up the stairs had a bit of lagg and clipped trough the wall fell of the 1st storey and instantly died ===THE 1ST STOREY!!=== i thought from that height i would break a legg or something but no just insta death 10 hours of looting hiding running crawling trough shit for nothing...

Its stupid enough zombies can just like use noclip and chase you trough buildings fences or any other obstacle..This is the last time i go up on ANY stairs in the game just to prevent a random unavoidable insta death.

 

I didnt post this to complain i posted this to help the developpers fixing the game cause bugs like this are realy ruining the whole experience (atleast for me) and realy need to be fixed.

By agreeing to participate in the Alpha state of the game, you basically agreed to test the game for any bugs. Which means your sole purpose should be to find bugs, and make an effort to make everything better.

 

Well, you found a couple. How does that ruin one's experience? It should make you happy, as now you have something to report! Are you saying you don't play to test, but just to play the game early? Tsk tsk.

One time I was looting the top floor of one of those buildings with the holding cell at the NE airfield, I proned out to check under the beds and was killed by nothing.

 

It's an alpha build, you're gonna lose gear to BS. You just have to accept it and move on.

 

If you want to report bugs then use the Bug Reports area of the forums...

Posting topics like this won't bring your gear back and the devs more than likely won't see it.
