I don't really know where this should go, but do I need Arma 2 OA?

I only got arma 2, because it was on sale, and I liked dayz a little.

But I didn't look at this site or anything to know that I need Op. Arrowhead, and I think it was just out of my price range too.

But I am wondering if I can play the mod with just arma 2, and find a few servers that support only arma 2.

If I can, could someone help me figure it out? Because dayz commander no help, and the other thing crashes when I download it. I would appreciate help, that is if I can play dayz with just arma2.

If not, guess I'll just go on a 28 days server or something.

Pretty sure you need OA to play DayZ mod unfortunately :( You do know that DayZ standalone Alpha is out now though right? It's pretty buggy and doesn't have much content but over the next few months it should get pretty epic!

Eh, it's too much for me, and I got arma for 2.99 or something like that during the holiday sale.

I only had 5 dollars left on my account, so I can't buy a 30 dollar game.
