Unbearable lag, even on menu screen

Recommended Posts

Installed and reinstalled DayZ standalone and have experienced terrible FPS and lag in-game and on the menu screen. I don't have a high-spec PC, but suspect something is going on to hinder performance. I changed priority to high and it fixed some of the problem, but it's still basically unplayable.

AMD A8 w/ integrated graphics

6gb RAM

Windows 7 Home Premium

I may have no clue whatsoever here...

But you said it was lagging, and you tried running it on high..?

Maybe you should try running it on low?  or am i being a complete moron here

CPU/GPU: AMD A8-3500M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.5ghz

For reference, it ran Skyrim fine with graphics set to high.

With DayZ I turned the graphics down, but it doesn't affect performance much. The laggy menu screen is hard to explain.
