Can't play 1.7.1.5 anymore

I played on this version all day yesterday and now for some reason whenever i join a server all i get is "Waiting for character to create".I've checked that all the dayz files are up to date along with the beta patch and battleye,i'm not sure what has changed since last night.I've joined around 25-30 servers today and got the same message on every single one and if i join a server which is running a lower version of the game i spawn in the debug forest,has anyone found a fix for this yet??

Try waiting it out, I get that sometimes, it's probably your internet connection (PROBABLY). It might take a while, just wait it out a bit.

I don't see it being my connection because i can join ARMA2 servers running regular missions no problem but dayz just doesn't let me get past the creating character screen.

i am having the same problem, same with my friend that i am trying to play with, the mod worked great yesterday but it is just waiting for character to create today for some reason.
