Server side and player side saves

What the title says. I just played 13 hours...the game glitched and me and my friend lost all our equipment. If we could save as well as the server, this won't happen.

The Alpha excuse wears thin. This is a public server issue, not game software. However, this morning when I started the game up, my character was back as he was just before the broken chain link appeared and my friends were skating around the building
