My Settings For DayZ Standalone Video

Recommended Posts

I've got some comments about my graphics and FPS being pretty good, so I decided to make a video.

Places where there are lots of buildings in my FOV, and buildings behind more buildings, seem to bog down a bit. But while I'm not recording I only dip down to about 28-30 fps in the very worse case. Most other times I'm between 35-70fps. Definitely playable and enjoyable.

I disabled and lowered some things from the original settings, so it's not as "pretty" but still looks awesome in my opinion.

The hardware I'm using is:

Intel i5 2500k Overclocked to 4ghz

Geforce GTX 680 2gb (super clocked)

Samsung 830 256gb SSD

8gb g.skills Ripjaws

The video is broken up in to:

- My hardware

- Windows settings

- In game settings

- modifying some DayZ files

Remember to back up everything before you start tinkering. If you don't know, don't do it!
