Hi all,

I have a quick question regarding my characters name in Dayz, when I first started playing it was "JAMES" and for the life of me I couldn't find out where it was set, although I didn't care as it was my name so that was fine...

However recently it's changed to SKIDROW and I can't seem to change it.

I'll admit, when I first heard about DayZ I wanted to see if it'd be worth me buying Arma II and Operation Arrowhead not only for the mod but also for it's own merits so being scimpy with my cash I downloaded a copy and gave it a test and once I confirmed I think it was worth it I bought the game.

I'm guessing this is where it's getting it from but I'm wondering how I can now change it? I've uninstalled the downloaded copy I had but that's made no difference. Any ideas?

(PS, I didn't think the Arma II demo gave me enough to go by which is why I downloaded it)

In the main menu there should be a section called "Profiles" and there you can create one, or change the name of a existing one.

The game started me with a pre created name but wouldn't let me edit it. So I had to create a new profile with new name.
