Helicopter Crash Site Bugged

What happened: I was heading west towards a deerstand near the NW airfield, and as I was running across a clearing I saw a bunch of zombies and then saw that they were patrolling around a crashed heli site. My heart started fluttering because there was a good chance I would get something really good. So I crawled up to the heli, scroll wheel.... nothing. Thinking maybe I needed to go to the other side, I crawled to the other side and tried again... still nothing. Seeing as there was nothing I could get from it and I was vulnerable to snipers, I took off across to the deer stand, but I'm really disappointed that I didn't get anything because it's not every day you find a crashed heli site ;)

The exact smae thing happened to me today in the field south of Msta. Heli, zeds, no loot.

No^ items should be lying around in the grass, they're kind of difficult to find and it requires some inspection to finally see the "take [item]" option.

Alternatively, it may have already been looted.

I've come across 2 now first one had loads of loot was really chuffed 2nd one had nothing not even zombies guessed it was looted but i was on a pretty empty server so wasn't sure

Loot spawns all round the chopper, and usually 1 thing spawns inside. Getting it is a bit of a challenge.

maybe other people have been there before you.

crashed heli's works fine. found like 20+ of them. and mostly with gear.

only 2 times orso that there wasn't any gear

That's not a bug. It means it's already been looted.

As far as I know heli crashes don't respawn loot, it's first come first served.

Pitty you didnt search in the grass near the helicopter.

It is really worth snooping around the chopper, looking at the ground since there might be weapons lying that are hard to see.
