Infected spawning on top of you normal?

I was wondering if it's normal for infected to spawn right on top of you. I was at some lone building near a road. The only infected that was around was a knuckle drager. So I waited till he moved some distance from the area. Then I crawled to the open door. Yet before I got near it 2 infected spawned right on top of me and killed me. They hadn't been in the building. They just appeared out of thin air.

That was on my 2nd spawn in this mod.

bug maybe, maybe lag or server desync, it is an alpha so stuff like this CAN happen.

I haven't run up to something like this, but it ain't pretty... :(

Check the posts, maybe something is going on... If not, we need to wait and see what happens! :)

Yep. Been reading through the last few patch updates. Most seemed to talk about infected spawns. Guess I was just unlucky.
