Two Computer Playing Dayz on Same Network

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have been playing Dayz fine all week untill my brother installed it onto his PC under his own steam. Now when ever he plays dayz I cant join any servers.

I can see the servers on list but cant connect just connection error.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Post it on the bugtracker, I know two people who sometimes play in the same house under the same network; works fine for them.

I have this problem too!

This works for multiple players on the same router in other games like CS/TF2/GMOD/etc.

What brand of router do you use.  I used to use a Linksys WRT54G which allowed me and my roomate to join different server's but not the same server.

You can try to reset it, and join a server, then tell your brother to join 2 minutes after you. I don't know if it matters... sometimes my router is messing up, and then a good reset put it fine. (sorry for english)

Go on to your router gateway and adjust your firewall settings, make them less strict.
