This works for multiple players on the same router in other games like CS/TF2/GMOD/etc. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6370-QPHJ-3567
Aeoneth 163 Posted January 3, 2014 What brand of router do you use. I used to use a Linksys WRT54G which allowed me and my roomate to join different server's but not the same server.
moreweb 1 Posted January 3, 2014 I use a TL-WDR3600 TP Link, anyone got any ideas how i can fix this?
nicolasvei (DayZ) 9 Posted January 3, 2014 You can try to reset it, and join a server, then tell your brother to join 2 minutes after you. I don't know if it matters... sometimes my router is messing up, and then a good reset put it fine. (sorry for english)

(sorry for english) Go on to your router gateway and adjust your firewall settings, make them less strict.
