I have lost my character over 5 times since the patch hit and lost my character maybe 3 times pre-patch. Excessive server hopping right after a patch is a great way to get your character wiped. Wipes are usually due to server not updated to latest version, server desync with public hive or server not whitelisted by public hive. Find 5 or 10 good server where you have not experienced character wipes and favorite them. If you server hop excessively, your chances of being randomly wiped will be much greater.
