Losing Character Since Patch

Is anyone else having huge problems with losing their character since the new patch? I have lost my character over 5 times since the patch hit and lost my character maybe 3 times pre-patch. I know there are different server versions and private/public hives so don't give me that crap. I just want to know if i'm alone.

Just lost my 5 day old char tonight. Server says it cant load my character.

Glad to see i am not the only one. Maybe ill take a day or two break from dayz to save myself the pain.

Excessive server hopping right after a patch is a great way to get your character wiped.

 

Wipes are usually due to server not updated to latest version, server desync with public hive or server not whitelisted by public hive.

 

Find 5 or 10 good server where you have not experienced character wipes and favorite them.

 

If you server hop excessively, your chances of being randomly wiped will be much greater.
