Desync so much that you kill yourself

Is it technically possible to lag/desync/whatever that you actually clone yourself in game and  if you shoot that clone you will kill yourself?

 

Becouse I think that just happened to me.

I think your client would just not show himself. The server may be think you are in front of yourself O_O - but you would never send back the confirmation to the server.
