PracticalTactical 164 Posted January 2, 2014 So ive spent several hours playing now and I am liking what I see. I have made my way all the way north, gathered a scoped rifle, handgun, nice clothing, big backpack and all the fixin's. Through various points of my journeys I have encountered blood loss, starvation and dehydration. This has made my once colourfull vision a dull, depressing grey. In the mod you could simply eat food and hunt for meat (which regained more blood). In the standalone this seems it is not the case. I have followed direction of a youtube video on eating/drinking till my stomach is full and waiting for colour to come back. This has proved futile, as I have eaten a whole bunch of food and drank many drinks as well as waited over an hour and I have yet to see even a slight change in colour. There must be a way of regaining blood other than using saline or bloodbags, right? If so, how would one do this? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Vodski 7 Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) All I did, was get full and rest until I noticed the "healthy" tag in my character status. Friend of mine was in the same boat as you and the only way we could fix it, is if I injected him with a saline bag, and he regained the color in his vision. zhrike 264 Posted January 2, 2014 Eating and drinking does work, it just takes time. You were probably fairly low on blood. Once you're full your blood will regenerate slowly over time. Eventually all color will be back and you will see a "healthy" status in your inventory screen. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Do note that you need to reach pretty high levels of energy and water to get healthy. The only way to get blood is to get helthy or use blood/saline- bag. Punkrawks 136 Posted January 2, 2014 I've noticed a glitch where even when you're healthy your vision is still blurry.To fix this, press esc, open config, press video settings then escape back out to the game.
