Keeping Journals.

I had an idea the other day whilst walking through what seemed to be a never ending forest, What if when you found paper, and a pen, you could start to collect them and combine them all into a journal, so if you end up dying and someone is looting your corpse, they might end up reading it, then they could get a feel for the journey you had, and if they killed you, it could help make them feel bad for doing it. (If you write it dramatically enough.) Also, what if you could take a book, and tear out the pages, then change the title of the book, then add you own pages, to actually make your own journal. Example: find a copy of the new testament, tear out the pages, rename it MY NEW TESTAMENT, then you could just end up writing nonsense, or stupid crap in there, so you could end up giving a bandit or some passer by a giggle for looting your corpse. I think they may be adding this due to the ability to use Pen on paper, but it currently does nothing. What are your guys thoughts?
