tent placement

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I found my first tent today, but...

I cant place it any where.

The game keeps telling me i need a flat area and nothing around it.

i ran around for half an hour trying to place it in different spots, but no luck.

Tryed roads, grass fields, forests, next to buildings...

Any help would be usefull.

Hi! Well, most of the tents I have found (and might have looted in a parallel universe) have been set up in clearings in the woods, mostly on the left-side hilltop next to the dam behind the Elektro powerplant, you could allways try there even though its just a shot in the blind.

It's possible to place them in forests where it's slanting pretty decently. I usually hide my tents this way outside Berezino in the forest to the west, among some ferns. Seems to help that you look down along the slope. Keep trying, take one step, try and pitch the tent, one step, try, step, try, and so on until it goes up.

I have problems with it aswell, what I usually do is: I run around spamming the 'place tent' button, since it doesn't bug anymore and spawns you a hundred tents, it should be fine. They are kinda buggy still, you just need to be patient I guess.
