Teleporting back to previous location?

so me and some buddies were playing last night and we kept running for a bit then getting ported back to a previous location (Normally our spawn in location) our game would then lock up and not allow us to do anything even access the exit function, Is anyone else having this and does anyone know the cause/ solution?

Alot of people is having this problem. I do. There's nothing we can do at this moment. Happened to me 5 time in a row, I walked from Elektro to Cherno and got teleported back to Elektro. It pissed me off, but since the patch, it's not happening to me. Maybe it's a server problem or desync. Can't tell.

Every few hundred meters stop for about 3-5 seconds. works for me

I had this happen to me three times last night on the same server. I was playing with a buddy who was guarding my dead body and I was trying to run back as fast as I could to reclaim my Mosin and my M4. I sprinted from the coast up into the mountains and that was when it started. It ported me back about 300 or so yards and I couldn't move. I could however crouch, go prone, and stand up. I logged out and logged back in and started running again and got ported back. After the third time I said screw it and went to bed... lol.

 

Although I must say, I haven't run into this issue while playing tonight though.

Odd thing happened to me, I have never stood foot in Chernau and I got teleported from Balota to Chernau after a server turned off.
