How you open a tent?

I didn't realise tent's where in the SA yet. But I stumbled across one behind a house near the coast somewhere between electro and barizinho. It was the green army type ones we had in the mod. But I could not access it. Is this just apart of the scenery or can you actually store items in them?

Tent storage hasn't been implemented yet.

Just a part of the scenery for now. I'm sure tents will be entirely replaced just like how backpacks were from the mod to suit the game away from the old tech. Porting Arma 2's content to a modified engine would be unlikely.
