A small feature that would make partying up much easier in DayZ

Having an option to "spawn in" with other users on your Steam friends list would make it much easier to jump into the game with friends.

While it is rewarding to make your way through the map to finally meet with your friends, it is very frustrating to spend a large amount of time running around (and probably die a few times) then finally meet your buddies only to starve together as a group.

I would love this option to be available on DayZ. What does everyone else think

Make a spawn group.

Have a special lobby system like bf3 had on console where you could invite people to your squad then join a game.

In this squad screen you can see your squad, as you stay with your squad and continue to gear up you can still see your squad.

Yeah, such a feature might be friendly to new players but it would be massively abused.

Entire clans and groups of players would all be able to spawn at the same place at once and rush/kill anyone pretty much.  DayZ isn't supposed to be a "rewarding" experience because it's easy or convenient...it's supposed to be rewarding because it's hard.

I think that if they all have to be fresh spawns then it'd be less of an issue. Maybe spawn them closer, but not insanely far? Very good point though, thanks for the feedback.

There's always the option to kill yourself to get a better spawn. It's really not that hard to link up with friends.
