Voice chat quality

Hello my fellow survivors.

I was wondering if the dev team is able to increase the direct chat quality later in the process of development.

 

The voice chat is sometimes not enough to communicate, since you often dont understand what other people are saying.

 

My question is, is there any way to increase the quality?

I think that's more of an issue with the other guy's microphone than the game.

No. The current codec quality is a lot lower than later versions of the Arma 2 beta. It's probably because of server stability though. Same reason servers are only 40 players.
