Lag when switching weapons

Has the incredibly frustrating lag when switching weapons been addressed? Hot keys dont always register, requiring you to press them multiples times, on top of that there is lag between the switching animation. This is problematic when you're in town and a zombie spots you, you cant get your axe out in time. It's annoying. Has this been addressed or will it be fixed later on?

True that ! And when they do some of them make your character to stop... hope they fix it soon!

That issue is already addressed and is somewhat fixed, its better than it was.
