Trying to help people new to the game.

Some of you have herd of or run into myself or my outfit. We are called [WCO] Whiskey Company.

 

Our main play-style is to try and help people new to the game, and hunt down KoS'ers and Server Hoppers. Why some may ask? Because its the most difficult way to play the game, and I am just someone who takes pride in being the king on top of the hill.

 

Trying to help people in DayZ is extremely difficult, sometimes you give someone food or supplies, and they turn around and try to use them on you, you might not die but someone in our squad dies once in a while like this.

 

Or we help someone out who is getting shot at only to come to the realization that it was all staged and the person was only seeking comfort from us to provide Intel to his friends. (In this instance we didn't die, but he accidentally overlayed his plans over in-game chat.)

 

Sometimes you fully save someone, you keep them alive from zombies, help them find food, teach them about the game, send them on their marry way only to hear a gunshot 30 seconds later and find out a bandit got to him.

 

Also most of the time its impossible to distinguish innocent people from bandits, that is the factor that makes this game so appealing and fun to play. We legitimately have the ability to play as a hero, someone who isn't swayed by fear. (I'm not saying all bandits are just afraid, I'm just saying most bandits are just afraid of everything that moves, I do sometimes meet a bandit that wont combat log as I shoot at him.)

 

Anyways, back to my rant, I like playing this game because its realistic.

Nah, that is not any fun.  The group that I am part of actually try to keep it pretty heavy on the RP and really stress focus, communication, and movement among our group.

Find a real big axe and a motorcycle helmet first thing....that'll deal with the zombie issues and then you can look for food....and get off the main coast line.....it's no place for a newborn deer to roam.

Berries, my friend delicious, taking forever to harvest berries, My current life is still going because of those delicious red thing's found a shot gun, ammo, pant's and a single can of pipsi in 2 hours of coastal running for shits and giggles.
