Looting = Game Crash?!

Hey guys,

 

I've played DayZ for a while yesterday. I walked to the military base, where I had found a vest. I pressed mousewheel while suddenly the tent went invisible and i couldn't move. my Game was dead. I know it's Alpha  just want to ask if someone else has this problem, cause after this crash... the whole time I have played isn't saved. I just spawn somewhere else without the loots I've found on my way to the base. Kinda weird ^^.

Sounds like your character was rolled back after your game crashed.  A game crash is not unusual, aswell as your character reverting back to where they were last before the game was starting to have noticeable issues.  I do not think a vest caused the crash but rather other issues prior which led up to your freeze at the moment in time you were looting as you have pointed out you had gear prior to this.
