Blood chart, notepad, map, & community links in your Steam overlay browser

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I would have preferred just to bump my existing thread for this, but now we have a new section for the SA, so  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A year ago a made a little site to run in the Steam browser, which gives you access to handy DayZ resources without having to alt-tab out of the game. You can read the original thread here. Today I've added a new page of resources for the standalone:

http://www.dayzoverlay.com/standalone/

Currently included:

  • izurvive.com Chernarus+ map with squad markers (if the metagame is your bag :-p)
  • Blood compatibility chart. Use for good or evil.
  • Personal notepad. Type and save notes in the browser. Log your journey! Build your sh*tlist!
  • DayZ wiki & forum links
  • Bug tracker link for expedited alpher feedbackin'

It will no doubt evolve as the alpha does - pretty sure we'll see some cool resources being made by the community as the crafting & medical systems are developed further. If you have any suggestions or feedback, hit me here or via the social links on the site.

Peace & beans... unless I need your beans.

Awesome. That note pad will become very useful if there is ever a way to ID people, like character tags, when you mouse over their character.

I think a handy medical guide would be useful. I'll see how it fleshes out first.
