jaginun 87 Posted December 29, 2013 Red chain frequency goes up as internet connectivity goes down. Check you're not downloading, and make sure your drivers for any network adapters you have are up to date (Problem for me). And of course, make sure you're in a local server. ratiasu@hotmail.co.jp 122 Posted December 29, 2013 (edited) I usually always have a red chain on connecting, then it goes away again. I think it's because you're still catching up on syncing stuff with the server, even a while after you log in. If you have it after that, it's a connection thing. Edit: I love Ghost in the Shell. TIC 1050 Posted December 29, 2013 (edited) Could be related to the server architecture that might be stress tested for; perhaps try joining a different server and see if it resolves the issue. Yellow Chain: Desync = Delays in actions(also known as rubberbanding) You may notice on interactive objects requiring networking(zombies, players, animals, anything requiring action)Sometimes aborting out of the server and coming back in may solve it temporarily. As above, make sure you are out of combat before aborting. ;) Red Chain: No latency between client and server information; possible for server relating things like restarts or the client's ISP. *One can analyze this by going to the player menu by clicking "P" by default, find your name and you can find your bandwidth and ping statistics.
