Random Character Wipe?

So I was playing dayz standalone and I had a ton of loot and a gun and I logged in to a server and I was near the coast with nothing and there was a ton of character just bleeding standing up there was at least 20 bodies and I was among them. I then switched servers and it was back to normal but I still had nothing, has this happened to anyone else?

I'm betting a hacker, seems a bit strange for bodies to collect together in a wipe.

I do not think there would be a wipe without a patch release, and a notification... either a 'hacker' or just an alpher bug. I would actually lean towards the glitch, as all the 'bodies' seem to indicate every spawn spawned at that location, where as they should have been more varied spawn locations. all of them standing (prolly' dead and bleeding) has bug/glitch all over it...

How many people were on when you tried to join? like if you were attempting to connect to a low pop server with 4 people and seen 20 some standing dead bleeding survivors... That just don't happen without something very glitched.

Maybe it was some tribe ritual thing where they have to slaughter 20 bambis to get their gods blessing.
