Apple Monster 6 Posted December 29, 2013 My IP blocking software has blocked multiple DINSA, Ministry of Defence IPs. Does anyone know what this is about? http://myip.ms/view/ip_owners/79437/Dinsa_Ministry_of_Defence.html
semipr0 402 Posted December 29, 2013 You're not asking enough questions to get an answer really. When does this happen? When playing the game? When visiting this website/forum? While you're surfing the web for teen hentai porn?
Apple Monster 6 Posted December 29, 2013 Oh sorry I assumed playing the game would be understood. Yes playing the game. Thanks.
semipr0 402 Posted December 29, 2013 Hrrm that does seem a bit odd, if there were any odd back doors in the server/client or client/master server relationship in regards to this software, someone on Reddit would have ripped that wide open within hours of release. I'm not in the UK but my firewall doesn't block anything while I'm playing, so if its relevant to playing the game it might be something local to UK players. Perhaps some bean counter at DINSA thinks the software is being used to train domestic terrorists and its being monitored in the UK or something...who knows, if anything thats really not a problem with the game...its a problem with your government. Course in my case its probably just a case of the NSA being better than my firewall. In either situation, I don't suppose I much care either way.
Apple Monster 6 Posted December 29, 2013 Well its funny because I'm in California soo. I'm just going to keep blocking the ip, I've had no problems with the game yet from my firewall or peerBlocker.Would be nice to know why it's spamming my pc tho.
altimor 10 Posted December 29, 2013 (edited) PeerBlock shows this sort of thing a lot, unsure why. Edited December 29, 2013 by Altimor
Apple Monster 6 Posted December 30, 2013 PeerBlock shows this sort of thing a lot, unsure why. Yeah it seems even if I allow the IPs, different ones flood the block list anyway. Maybe I should delete some stuff from my harddrive...heh cough.
