hello90909 0 Posted December 29, 2013 Hey everyone. Not sure where this topic should be, but I've lately started playing dayz on my NEW computer that has:- AMD A8-4500 APU with Radeon Graphics 1.9GHz- 8 Gigs of ram- 750 GB HD-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Display adapters:- AMD Radeon HD 7610M- AMD Radeon HD 7640G + 7610M Dual Graphics I'm aware that this isn't a great setup but I still believe that I should be getting better frames than I do currenlty ( 1-20). If someone could help me get a solid 20 ( To the point where its atleast smooth ) I would be more than pleased. Thanks.

Raven (DayZ) 3 Posted December 29, 2013 I hoping that client performance optimisation is on the dev roadmap.
hello90909 0 Posted December 29, 2013 Seemed to of increase the frames, but I still get frame jumps ( Top 30's to like 5-8 ) and these "Lag Spikes" last around 20 seconds.
JulioRey 11 Posted December 29, 2013 set objects quality very low (on the dubky buildings this is a massive fps difference)ambient inclusion offpost process off (or very low if there is no off options, cant remember) this should help your dayz run without fps drops
TIC 1050 Posted December 29, 2013 (edited) Try this. Go to; My Documents > DayZ Other Profiles > (Your username; make sure it opens in Notepad) Then, find these settings and change the values like so. sceneComplexity=300000; (Lower value, better performance but decreases objects/buildings at a distance)shadowZDistance=1;viewDistance=500;preferredObjectViewDistance=350;terrainGrid=25; Edited December 29, 2013 by TIC321
