Do the flashlight make you see beyond walls?

I was on the airport at night, I saw another person with the flashlight on so I hid externally to a warehouse. I saw the flashlight on me from the inside of the warehouse and I tought it was a bug and he wasn't able to see me. I was wrong apparently. Does that mean that they can see you through every type of wall?

as far as i know it goes through the wall, so if someone is using a flashlight inside of a building u can see him easily

Are you saying you didn't have your flash light on and he was seeing you? If he wasn't far and you were moving, he could have heard the sound of you walking. I find it's easier to hear people nearby than the mod.

Yep. I've had it off for a while and I was still, he couldn't see me. So it seemed to me he was able to see me through the military warehouse with the flashlight.
