My first experiences playing Dayz

In my first 30 minutes or so in game . I got rounded up with a bunch of unarmed people which then was forced to fight each other by 2 armed men equipped with sniper rifles.

It was horrific and i wasn't able to do anything because i didn't even know how the controls worked. And also they were so much shit said to us people just starting out , we got called motherfucker bambees (if i heard it correctly) and other stuff.

Luckily the bad guys were bad shots and they got beaten to death after one of the guys rushed towards the 2 with the sniper rifles and the others followed throwing punches whilst running around in circles.

After that my heart was beating and logged off after the group i was with headed to another place, and moments after i got shot running across a small airfield which in that time i only had a rotten banana and a can opener.

I have no servers showing up in my dayz standalone( and yes i clicked the internet tab im not retarded). I found an ip for a server off gametracker or somethin or other. It took like 15 minutes to connect. it just said wait for host. then it loaded the names of the other players along the side in green text. it said some something then it said ready! 10 minutes later, im actually in the game. I go from building to building not finding anything. No items, no zombies, no other players. About an hour later i find a rotten orange. I leave it cuz its rotten and worthless. a few seconds later everyone on the server gets kicked. havent found another server I can connect to yet. Its 12:30am now and ive been trying since 5pm. I can get as far as the wait for host with the green names but it never goes further. It does however say im thirsty and hungry even though im not in the damn game. Im afraid I spent 30 bucks so I could almost get a rotten virtual orange and starve to death in limbo. This is the dumbest thing Ive ever invested my time or money into. The more I try to get a good server, the more retarded I feel. Im afraid that ill soon go full retard if something doesn't give. Is there someway I can host my own server and play solo?
