Perm. Daytime?

Its been daytime all day and all night on my server for about 18hours. Its still light right now actually. The server's based in Seattle. The fuck?

This sucks hard i spended 3 hours last night finding a server with nighttime on it to try out my new found NV googles but didnt find 1 single one...

Rocket you need to start blacklisting servers that run daytime 24/7 its getting abit annoying.

I have seen this too. its kinda pissing me off. I love the night time! it turns the game into a whole different beast.

Um. We do not run daytime 24/7 on our server. I just logged into it expecting to play during the night, like I prefer to, and it's still fucking daytime. Shit's pissing me off too and that's why I'm posting about it.

It might be a bug, do not be so quick to judge.

Does the server restart often? I find the game only really changes from day to night after a restart.

I never play on seattle im talking about other servers such as SE1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and UK servers etc :p pretty much every server i tried last night around 01.00 had daytime still on it because moderators abuse different timezone then the server located actually has.

For example I got GMT +1 where i live. I join a server with GMT +1 in servername in hope for it to be nighttime. I enter and its sunny daylight.. this is what pisses me off.

Bug or done on purpose either way look into it!!!

Speaking about daylight bugs, I had a strange occurance where the time ingame for me was 8:40pm. It was dark, I had no flashlight, and I was blind.

For my friend, it was 7:40... He could still see fine.

Asked in side chat what time they had, another player reported it was 6:40.

Bare in mind this was 1.7.1, but I logged out and logged back in around 9:55pm INGAME my time, and when I logged in it was 6pm, exactly. Crazy.

I don't trust ingame time now for this reason.

If this is a bug its not going to be brought up alot because majority of the players hate nighttime while it fucks over the rest that actually enjoy it...

Rocket have to see this and fix it in the next patch or HOTFIX!!!!!

Yeah, I left a server to restart my game once, came back, and time had rolled back an hour. Just today, my friend said he couldn't see anything while I still had reasonable vision, so I told him to reconnect, and of course, he could see just fine again afterwards. Something isn't quite right with times. He didn't have a watch, so we couldn't compare times.
